BK Khare : Our founder and
aspiration

Late Mr. BK Khare, a statesman of the Chartered Accountancy profession was the founder of our firm. He founded the firm in 1955 as a Sole proprietorship. From a one person entity in 1955, Late Mr. Khare has nurtured our firm to a 130 person firm. ...

He was a nationally renowned Taxation expert and had represented several large clients for over 50 years before Income Tax authorities (up to the highest judicial level in the tax department). He had kept his finger on the economy pulse and his foresight had immensely helped our clients be ready for changes in economic laws. Late Mr. Khare pioneered commentating on the Budget of the Indian government over 30 years ago.

He was a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as well as Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He was also a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Law. Mr. Khare had also been involved in bettering Corporate Governance as Audit Committee Chairperson of Public companies. Further, Late Mr. Khare had been a regular speaker in Seminars and Conferences organized by the ICAI on taxation, accounting and corporate finance.

Late Mr. Khare firmly believed in giving back to the society and had contributed to several causes including construction of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India offices at Mumbai and Pune and establishing charitable institutions to spread education and to preserve and encourage India's rich heritage.
