Our Social Initiatives

Our belief that knowledge is the pathway to achievement is also the theme that reflects in our social footprint. The trusts run by the firm promote the cause of both traditional and contemporary (or modern) education. The Veda Patshala in Alandi, the Samadhi place of the great saint Gyaneshwar is run by one of the trusts. Here the Vedas are taught in the traditional “gurukul” method (paddhati). The students are given free education, lodging and boarding. We are proud to share that many students have graduated with the ultimate distinction of “Ghanapathis” from the “pathshala”.

We also support the cause of modern education through the foundation trust by helping education reach all strata of society. This includes rural education especially in the North East of India. Higher education overseas has also been supported by the trust and students have returned to India to pursue promising careers.
